I won’t be going, but I think I would like to so that I could be at Calvo´s final comp as a Meet Director. If you are new to the British Open series you may not know that Calvo has been involved in the organisation of British Paragliding and international events for around 20 years. […]
My XC mag just arrived and here is the illustration I did for Ed Ewing at XC mag last month during the X Alps. If you were following the race then you will recognise the situation. When Chrigel was penalised for going the wrong way up a track and had a moan at the sponsor […]
This is young Jack Pimblet of the Nova Team increasing his airtime during the windy afternoon yesterday. We did eventually fly at PN as the wind came on and gave us an interesting thermic and restitution flight.

A few weeks back we were at Cenes next to Granada city and with the sun so low and staying on the South side for most of the time it seemed that flying the spur to the left of Cenes would be better. Years ago we flew from Purche, though now if you walk up […]
This is a great image forwarded to me by Duncan of Eddie Colefox and Jocky Jocky Sanderson making the big leap into the Pozo de las parededes (behind PN) during the 1994 British Open. Amazing and very brave. Amongst others who did the leap were Fiona Mckaskill.
Super conditions on Saturday with peaks of over 4m/s to Cu at 2600m. I was tempted to go over the pass but my hands could not stand the cold up high. Sunday more mellow, though pleaseant enough. Puri had her first flight on the Mentor on Saturday evening. After soundly thrashing Sophie (aged 5) at […]
After 5 days Steve finally went under the knife and now remembles more his white van, bodged, and hopefully with a few years left to go. We hope he will be back home on friday.
