A short flight before the return of poor flying weather

Yesterday Paul and I did an hours flight along the valley landing near the Long Bar (el Lavadero) as the W wind started to get up. A good looking sky with nice Cu nad some powerfull climbs.
Paul has been working almost non stop on the new tracking/guiding software over the last weeks during the poor weather. With a smartphone from the air we (I) can now see easily the positions, altitude and speed of all our pilots. The retrieve driver will have similar information displayed on a tab in the vehicle. The tests so far have been very good. We are looking forward to having some good XC conditions and larger groups to see how it really works. So far, with the poor weather it has been tested by driving, running around and small flights with the trackers.

Well done Paul. Hope to see you for some flying in July. If not you’ll be able to accurately track my final glides from the pass. At least Steve will know which field I’m in now.
