Rain and wind so we went to the river Tormes for some boating. The normal sections were far too high, but nobody was that interested in the really high section as it looked a bit tame so we ended up running a mid section which soon proved to be perhaps not such a good idea. The powerful flow set up very large wave trains and some largish stoppers the over the first section which would have made for a very uncomfortable swim. Although Paul and Remko and expert boaters, the novice rafters could have got into problems so we cut the route short at La Angostura before reaching the classic bigger rapids.
