153km, 138km, 122km, 115km from Lastra in Epic conditions

Yesterdays light wind and amazing thermals gave us a crop of big flights and some PBs.  With climbs to over 4000m, and a  track away from the Madrid Airspace we had pilots scattered across the North of Castilla.

Conditions at Lastra were paraticulary good with easy take offs and quick and easy to get without the usual turbulence.

Outstanding effort, I was very jealous. Really well done.

Yesterday, I went for a few minutes on the live tracking page while at work. And found it was an horrible day. Being entangled, trapped, squizzed, screwed with stupid problems while all these guys were flying high, fast and far was not a good thought. So let’s take it positive, congratulate the pilots, and cross my fingers for such a daynext year with Steve.

I like the “paraticulary”. Great day!!
