Light WNW. 2900m

Noon

The instability affecting us on Sunday has now moved East leaving us with good soaring and XC conditions.  A light W with blue thermals to just under 3000m.   Possibly early on lower levrel Cumulus will form at lower levels to blue out as the day develops.

What can we do?  The winds are light enough for a circuit task, but also, if we fly with a bit of determination and speed, suffiecient for a goal in Segovia.

PN/Segovia- Conditions/time/track

What Happened?

Very very nice conditions with the Cus holding throughout the day and solid pleasant climbs to base around 2900m.  V light winds, tending to NNE towards Avila.  We should have flown back at Muñogalindo, but due to the racket on the radio (culprit yet to be found), most had radios turned down so planning was not so effective.  Steve and Simon down in the light headwind before the Y junction, but Gill able to scamper back to land back towards the Bend in the road after gettting about 4km short of the Y.
