3700m light/Mod W

The appearance of some Congestus in the Ambles valley made us stay in the Piedrahita Valley, though pushing back from the pass made us go down around Bonilla. Superb evening flying with good thermal climbs in valley till late.
Thats it for this week. Good flying every day of the week with some truly classic conditions. Of to the airport tomorrow for the Gloster and Malvern boys.

A fantastic weeks holiday! We flew everyday – usually twice. Great company and great guiding. With fun flights to East and West!
Anna, my wife, loved it too – and proved even low airtime Pilots can get a lot out of Piedrahita in the high season, polishing up her thermalling skills, and taking her first steps on the road to XC flying – including flying over my head one day! Hmmmph!
Thanks Steve and Puri for an excellent week! And thanks to to all the gang who were great to fly with – always flying courteously and well.
Wished we wee staying another week.
