A day in the high 30s, with strongish southerly winds. Most spent the day at the swimming pool or in the shade (though I got sunburnt on my back rigging up a watering system for the veggie garden). We flew at Lastra del Cano in the late afternoon, taking off just as two Black Vultures climbed out in front of us.
