The wind did not abate today so I had time to finish of this which has been lingering on my drawing board for quite a while during this busy period of flying lately. I really loved the reference image and I hope the painting makes you smile if you know these guys.
Here was a fast sketch/painting from a photo and a bit of observation of Ulric whist on his computer in the kitchen yesterday. Unusually I only made one sketch and did this in about 20 mins. Not enough exaggeration but in the right direction I think.

Part of Hugh Miller’s article on the Triton, GTO and Mantra 6. The brief was to illustrate the designers the way Hugh found the essence of the gliders. Caricatures of designers Russ Ogden of Ozone, Torsten Siegel of Gin and Phillipe Medicus of Nova.

Steve was an old client of ours. After retiring form the UK police force he set up XC Paragliding Brasil which he runs with his wife Jaqueline in Governador Valadares. The bad weather yesterday enabled me to finish off this caricature of him which he requested.
