4 Personal Bests

Strong thermic conditions at mid day after short morning flight. Only Alberto and Luis near towards the Pass. The evening flight in restitution gave 4 personal bests with with landings around Villafranca and Casas del Puerto. Our low airtime coastal ridge soaring group were very happy.

Reasonable XC potential

Approx. 15km/hr winds from W with upto 3/m climbs to Cu at c2500m. Not a bad day to cross the pass for a flight towards Avila. Forecasts seems puzzling with isobars giving more easterly winds and the computer models more W. Light W to our W in Bejar, E on the plateau behind Peña Negra and S in Avila.
