SW winds (top end) and instability (Cbs likely)

track to NNE - note thermal climbs late afternoon (Cbs?)

Another potentially problematic day if we want easy nice XC soaring conditions – we certainly won´t get them.  The strong S wind further complicated by the Heat Low and upper level instability will give rise to congestus formation in late afternoon if max temp predictions are attained.  Winds lightening later in afternoon but that may be irrelevant if Cbs form.  Poor thermal quality early on.  Trigger temperature very high – over 30ºC.  Not a good scenario I am afraid.

What Happened?

The wind did come on at PN, but dust devilly and crossed.  No Cbs, but too windy.
