Cam, who flew for the first time with us yesterday (he has been ill since his arrival) managed a top to bottom and an evening soar for an hour or so.  Cam, like Ian last week, has arrived with only a CP to his name and essentially no experience, so every bit counts.  Hopefully his progression will be like that of Ian who now in his second weeks veteran of many hours and small XCs.

Yesterday excellent conditions on the hill with the wind directly on and climbs to around 2800m.

A  nice day with a light N flow, though inverted a little above take off.  Climbs to 2600m later in the afternoon.  Good prospects for a modes flight to Barco or to Tornavacas Pass.

Saturday was a great day with various over the Pass, notably Ian, on his first week of paragliding post Cp.  Sunday, nice conditions for those who stayed on with Cu and only Michael going over the Pass.

A potentially very good xc day with the usual SW convergence in the Avila valley and beyond.  More wind than yesterday and the direct may make us go to La Lastra take off.   We will hold out till after 11 to see if it comes onto PN

A very good quality day with Hari and I turning back at the Pass ( a little N on other side) and returning to Piedrahita.  Steve went over and was one climb short of Avila at Niharra.  Ian made his 2nd modest XC to the quarry and back to past the long Bar.  Mari did here usual low save near the windmills and had a great thermal flight down to Villafranca.

Another nice Autumnal day, not dissimilar to the previous days , but with very light winds from the west.  Rasp showing good convergence from Avila to the NE once again.  Likely climbs perhaps a little  lower that the last two days, but still an excellent day.

Continuing excellent conditions this week and further progress for Ian with climbs above 2500m for him and his first modest XC to near the Pass.

A great looking day…but for me, Steve, a quick trip to the bomb out field at the Windmill!  Nice evening conditions and plenty of flying for all.

Similar to yesterday with high quality climbs and potentially the wind better for the evening flight..more NW.  Initialy more SW at PN, so we must ensure it comes on there or else must go to Lastra.

For a near autumnal day yesterday gave us climbs equal and better to July.  Hari and I went ingot he Avila valley, Harri landing at La Torre after finding a climb to 3000m at the Pass.  After a low save at Blatcha I went to 3300m and left the climb to land with Hari.  However, it seemed  the whole of the Avila valley was going up (thankfully a blue thermal day) and it took me over 30 minutes and had to fly back to Muñana to find sink enough to get down,

A good looking day for XC with a little more wind that the last days and a SW flow.  Good convergence in the Avila Valley and towards Segovia.  An inversion around 2800m but  likely climbs to 3000m in the mountains and convergence.
