A return of excellent XC conditions yesterday with a nice Cu filled sky and light winds.  Flights towards the Jerte Valley with max distance around 70km+

Yesterday we were able to get some reasonable flying in for an hour before the  large build up clouds and storms.  Only Fredi ventured over the Pass to a very active Ambles Valley landing around the bend in the road.

Yesterday, despite the terrible forecast we were able to do a short local flight during the morning around 11.30am and a reasonable evening flight.

The forecast turned out to be spot on yesterday and the proposed goal would have been nice for the competition.  Fredi flew beyond Arcones using the ridge of finish off just after the Somosierra Gap.  Only Mike and Dave made it over the pass from our group, though the rest had a good evening flight […]

an excellent day with great conditions and an a number of excellent flights topped by Mike and Stu, both for their first time over 100km.

A  remarkable day yesterday with a perfect Cu filled sky stressing along the convergence to the North.  Best of the day for Pete, with also Sonya and Dave going well to the NNE.  Matias, on his second flight from Peña Negra (first flights from Chia made a good distance to near Salamanca.

A very pleasant day yesterday with good climbs to 2600m and a light NE drift.  to the Tornavacas Pass at 30km for the first  XC and an evening goal flight down to Barco .

Yesterday we had some decent soaring in the early afternoon but keeping to the valley and a way from the Pass.  The evening was too strong for flying.
