Convergence shifted southwards so going beyond Avila is more difficult , however, Segovia is a possibility.  A NW at launch from early in the day, probably climbs to 3000m plus.  Full details at Briefing at  11am.

Weather Tuesday 13th June

Early morning SE flow with wind coming onto PN by mid day.  Convergence to the NE.  Good thermal quality and cu to 3900m in Mountains but high chance of Congestus and Cb along the convergence line. We will go for an early start at Chia.   Full details at briefing

WNW and strong climbs to 3000m+

The wind may be on the strong side today but does show very good potential for XC, though the N aspect may make if difficult with a cross tailwind from  Avila onwards.  Climbs to over 3000m and Cumuls forming in abundance though no storm risk.

SW and climbs above 3000m

Seems like an easier day with the wind in the west and should be at Pn by mid afternoon.  We may still go early to Lastra to ensure an XC day as it looks good with good thermal climbs to over 3000m and convergence effects north of the Avila Valley.
