A forecast of 4000m with good pancake clouds early on but with a risk of Cbs later.  Our plan to fly early was foiled by the wind over the back at PN..Along with 70 other HG pilots in the event here.   We finally flew late afternoon and did a nice XC back to Piedrahita from Lastra, tagging a TP north of the valley.  Still strong climbs just 45 minutes before sunset.
