NNE c25km/hr at 8800ft (max thermal tops)

Section PN to Tornavacas

1500

High pressure to the West in the Atalantic and low pressure in the Mediterreanean giving us N to NE flow over the Peninsula. Very strong winds at costal areas but a reduction on yesterday for us. Still cool, though better than yesterday with top temp expected to around 23ÂșC. Inversion at around 2100m and at 2600m with climbs not much over the latter.

Once again a flight to Barco or maybe the Pass at Tornavacas is possible but winds may become a little strong by mid afternoon.

What Happened?

Some reasonable flying early on with a number of us escaping towards Barco but none further than Santa Maria de Los Caballeros.
