Nice Autumn thermalling

A very pleasant day with very light winds from the N. Even on the early flight the thermals were abundant, though low, allowing Crispin and myself to have a good stab at Barco, most of the others fizzling out at Santiago. The second flight was fantasic with big easy climbs out in the valley. The evening flight was marred by the arrival of stronger E wind. Though all in all a good finish to a tricky weather week……….though we did get to fly every day!

Indeed, we flew every day! What a great flying week it was. Good company, Steve being a brilliant guide, Puri cooking delicious food. We had very varied flying: XCs and brilliant soaring flights. Thank you everybody for contributing to a very memorable flying holiday.
