20km/hr SW , 3800m, but frustrating

A potentially big day. I did a quick commercial tandem at 12, but conditions at that time started to get bit rowdy in the valley. Take off conditions were not good, with switching to backwinds and dust devils. Those who got away looked like they were on for 200km with a great convergence line setting up. Our group stood down as it looked a bit iffy for the take off.
