Romeria de La Virgen de la Vega

Today was the Romeria de la Virgen de la Vega, when all the town goes 5km north of town to the hermitage where the Virgen is kept. A meal is provided by the town hall. Nice flying conditions throughout the day with base of around 2500m, good Cu development from early on, but some larger congestus later in the afternoon. Three flights for our new group ( mainly from Sussex). The photo is of Rob and Ian, who made the most of the first flight with some good thermal climb outs in the valley.
