Position Fix Help
Tracker problems?
Use this option to send your position to the Flypiedrahita Tracking System when you have a problem with your tracker.
Before you send your position:
1. It is important that you only send the position for your assigned tracker number.
If you send a position for the wrong tracker number you could delay someone's retrieve or endanger them if they need help.
2. You need to have a network signal on your phone.
3. You need an accurate position fix from the phone's GPS.
When your have all both, the send button is enabled and you can send your position to the system.
GPS position and accuracy
Make sure the location option is enabled on your 'phone.
Before you hit the the send button, check the accuracy shown alongside the lat/long values.
This should improve as the GPS module gets more data. Hit the send button when you are satisified.
You can continue to send updates to your position, if the accuracy improves.
