Your stay with flyPiedrahita

These pages contain details of the basic facilities and services we provide during your stay in Piedrahita. An introduction to Steve and Puri, your hosts, in About Us, details of the accommodation available in the house, and a short history of the flyPiedrahita Company.

What we provide

• Airport collection and return (ONLY ON SUNDAYS).
• Accommodation.
• Breakfast each day and three evening meals.
• Transport to take off and retrieves along the day’s specified route.
• Guidance, instruction and XC tandem flights if desired.
• Extra activities on non-flyable days: white water rafting if the water levels are suitable, power kiting, kite and windsurfing, trips to the cities or walking tours in the mountains at no extra cost.
• Activities such as horse riding, quad biking, go cart racing, paint balling, which involve another companies will be extra.

Meals provided

Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning in our kitchen from 9am onwards. You can help yourself to tea, coffee, juice, cereals, toast, marmalade, jams, and honey from our own bee hives. After a few days, most people are very familiar with the kitchen. You can make tea or coffee at any time.

Dinner

Three evenings during the week you will have dinner with us in our house. On the day you arrive (Sunday) on the last night (Saturday) and a day in between (normally Wednesday). We enjoy these very much because it gives everybody the chance to get to know each other a bit better and perhaps relive the flying and adventures of the day.

It is like a family dinner, which in Spain is a very important part of the culture. The dishes depend on which ingredients are in season, most are traditionally Spanish and are more what a family would eat at home every day rather than what you are likely to find in a restaurant. If you have special dietary requirements or there is something you do not eat please let us know.
