These pages contain details of the basic facilities and services we provide during your stay in Piedrahita. An introduction to Steve and Puri, your hosts, in About Us, details of the accommodation available in the house, and a short history of the flyPiedrahita Company.
As you will be arriving on Sunday when the shops are closed, we will start you off with some basic supplies. However, you will need to buy and prepare breakfast for the rest of your holiday. We will provide honey throughout the week from our own bee hives and maybe fresh eggs, depending upon our chickens laying.
Three evenings during the week you are invited to have dinner with us in our house. On the day you arrive (Sunday) on the last night (Saturday) and a day in between (normally Wednesday). We enjoy these very much because it gives everybody the chance to get to know each other a bit better and perhaps relive the flying and adventures of the day.
It is like a family dinner, which in Spain is a very important part of the culture. The dishes depend on which ingredients are in season, most are traditionally Spanish and are more what a family would eat at home every day rather than what you are likely to find in a restaurant. If you have special dietary requirements or there is something you do not eat please let us know.
See our Eating in Piedrahita section for more details.
